Electrostatic Precipitators

Rigid Mast, Dry Plate - Type R

Features

  • Suitable for small to large gas flows.

  • Suited for temperatures to 400C.

  • Rigid mast HV discharge electrodes (see overleaf for typical details).

  • Electric impact or top mounted tumbling hammer rappers available.

  • Rappers independently controlled for intensity, duration and sequence.

  • No requirement for passage-ways between fields making for smaller casing.

  • All maintenance items mounted external to casing for ease of access.

  • Designed for uniform gas distribution.

  • Microprocessor controlled HV transformer – rectifier.

Rigid Mast Types

Three types of mast available for use in the rigid mast electrostatic precipitator, the saw tooth, spike and scalloped as shown below:

The spike electrode is most suited for use in conversion of wire-weight discharge systems to mast discharge systems due to the narrow gas passage distance predominantly used in older units.

Benefits

  • Rigid mast electrodes provide stable operation under the severest of operating conditions.

  • Elimination of mechanical failure of wire discharge electrodes.

  • High collection efficiencies.
