Double Flap Tipping Dust Valves

The Type R-1 Motorised Double Flap Tipping Valve, is ideal for sealing hoppers or other dust discharge points where an air seal is required. The valve is designed to handle abrasive materials at temperatures up to 400°C.
The complete valve consists of two single flap tipping valves mounted one on top of the other, with a gear motor and lever assembly to operate the valve flaps.
The Type R-1 Dust Valve is manufactured from cast iron with seats and flaps cast from special chrome-manganese alloy steel for handling highly abrasive dusts. Dust-tight seals and collars seal the points where the shaft passes through the body. The shaft moves on ball bearings in outrigger mountings.
Drive is by a 415 volt 0.37 kilowatt TEFC motor, coupled to a gear reducer with output speed of approximately 6 RPM.
