The ‘PULSEMATIC’ Filter is a fully automatic dust filtering system which can be applied to any size of air flow.

‘PULSEMATIC’ features high pressure reverse pulse air cleaning of filter material.

Operation Principles

In both modular and custom designs, the filtering process and cleaning cycles are essentially the same. Dust laden air enters the side inlet chamber and is partially separated in a low velocity baffled area. The air then moves upwards over the baffle through a perforated plate. This ensures a downward flow over the bags which directs the dust downward into the hopper as the bags are cleaned. 

Finer dust is separated from the gas as is passes through the filter media and the particulate is deposited outside the bag in the forms of a filter cake. 

At prescribed intervals, modules or compartments are cleaned. Compressed air headers mounted above the bag rows provide compressed air pulses into the bags, which cause the bags to expand. As the bags expand, the dust filter cake is dislodged and falls into the hopper.
