Damper
Multi-louvre dampers are versatile in application.
For instance, the louvre damper can be fixed to the inlet of the duct to allow the introduction of ambient air to the baghouse inlet gas stream to maintain operating temperatures to acceptable levels. The damper would be housed in a weather cowling to prevent the ingress of moisture.
Applications for isolation (shut-off) can be achieved with varying degrees of leakage.
Dampers can be installed within round, square or rectangular duct.
Actuation can be via lever or pneumatic cylinder.
